About Presena
A personal approach to post-acute physiatry.
Presena Post-Acute Physiatry was founded to bring dedicated rehabilitation-focused physician care and lasting relationships to skilled nursing and post-acute facilities.
As an independent, physician-led practice, Presena places equal importance on clinical expertise, consistent involvement, and thoughtful communication with the people involved in each patient's care.
The Presena Approach
Dedicated to the work. Present for the people.
Post-acute rehabilitation often involves complex medical needs, changing functional abilities, and coordination among multiple care teams. Presena Post-Acute Physiatry was created around the belief that physicians should be consistently involved in that process—not simply available for occasional consultations.
Our approach emphasizes careful clinical evaluation, meaningful time with patients, and open communication with facility leadership, nursing, therapy teams, primary physicians, and families.
Because Presena is led by a practicing physiatrist, clinical decisions and facility relationships remain closely connected to the physician providing care.
